CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Instructor:  Bozena Barton

Craniosacral Therapy uses a light, soft touch in order to release deeply held restrictions in the environment in which the central nervous system functions to release soft-tissue adhesions, decrease pain, and enhance other massage modalities.  Students will learn to treat clients who are sensitive to pressure or are in extreme states of pain or compromised health. CST is very beneficial in the treatment of chronic pain, headaches and migraines, TMJ dysfunction, low back pain, and emotional trauma.

LEVEL 1 (CST I, CST II and CST III) will introduce students to basic CST principles through the 10 Step Protocol intended as an introductory guideline for Craniosacral sessions.  These classes must be taken in order.

LEVEL 2 (CST IV, CST V and CST VI) build on the foundation of the 10 Step Protocol by preparing students to treat specific dysfunctions of the system and obtain certification as a Craniosacral Practitioner. Students who have completed Level 1 (or HHI’s pre-2010 Craniosacral I), can take these classes in any order.
